One of my favorite holiday traditions is Small Business Saturday - a day when we get to support our local small businesses in the most fun way - by shopping!
I've always loved shopping at small boutiques and off-the-beaten-path retailers because it's where you find the most unique products: a dress none of your friends have or a candle that makes your home smell like you. Let's be real, it never gets old hearing your friends gasp and ask, "Where did you get that?!"

This year small businesses need our support more than ever. 2020 has hit them hard. Mandatory shut downs and social distancing has all but erased foot traffic, and many small shops don't have the digital reach that is keeping big box retailers afloat.
This year I'm putting together my Small Business Gift Guide! Most of these shops are local to Oklahoma, though I do have a couple of favorites that I've come across in my literal and digital travels. Absolutely none of these links are commissionable, I just want you guys to gift your loved ones with awesome presents that they can't get just anywhere! And if we can put some money in the pockets of these small business owners and employees so they too can take care of their families, even better!
MIRA BIRD

Edmond, Oklahoma 73013
This marble chain is only $48 - a much more affordable version that it’s pricier $150 counterparts!
These sisal bowls are the perfect eclectic touch to any home decor. I’m obsessed with the natural grass and black colors!
Gah I love this hand painted terra cotta pitcher. I’ve never seen it anywhere else which puts it at the top of my want list. Plus, it’s only $18! Perfect gift giving price range!
TYPO
123 E 9th Ave.
Stillwater, OK 74074
Terrazzo is such a fun trend and I love it as a small accent within bigger decor schemes. This terrazzo planter is perfect for anyone with plant babies and it’s only $28!
This vegan leather sketch painted sketch pad is more beautiful than any art I could fill it with! For $14 you could rock any art lovers world!
A kitchen conversion urging board is perfect for the people in your life who are bad at math. Or conversions. Or anything with numbers.
AMBER’S LIGHTING
2324 N Perkins Rd.
Stillwater, OK 74075
This 6 wick candle tray is beautiful and let’s face it, we need 6 wicks when it gets dark at 5 p.m.! You can work it into a holiday tablescape or use it as a stand alone piece!
I have this throw blanket in my guest room and it’s so comfy! I love the mustard yellow of the tassels and the softness of the knit.
I also have this throw blanket in a different color way that gets A LOT of use! It’s so comfy and I love the neutral charcoal and white colors.
GREIGE GOODS
707 S Main St.
Stillwater, OK 74074
Greige Goods is known around town for cute, fashionable clothes at reasonable prices which makes it one of my go to places when I need a new outfit. This pullover is at the top of my clothing wish list!
How cute are these geometric earrings? These leopard ones would match every article of clothing I own!
I’ve had my eye on these copper salad servers and Christmas might be the perfect excuse to treat myself! And since they're not expensive, no guilt necessary!
EVERYMAN
713 S Main St.
Stillwater, OK 74074
If you have a bearded bro in your life, a travel shaving brush might just be exactly what he needs.
”Baby it’s cold outside, but I still want to text.” I think that’s how the song goes. Get your man a pair of gloves that will keep his hands toasty but still allow him to text you back as soon as your message is “seen.”
This olive green knit crew neck sweater will keep your man looking out together and like he actually wants to be at that holiday [zoom] gathering!
PLENTY MERCANTILE
1466 S Bryant Ave.
Edmond, OK 73034
I'm a sucker for a charcuterie platter so I know that this book is a great gift for the foodie in your life! In my opinion, platters and boards are edible works of art!
I'm not a baker but these baking cups might just be the thing to flip me! I want to buy these, bake something delicious in them, and then use the final product on a pretty dessert board!
Plenty Mercantile has colorful map prints of Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Edmond - all places I've lived and loved! This is the perfect gift for someone who is Oklahoma Proud, or someone who is getting ready to move away as a pretty memento of their time spent in our wonderful state.
MAINSTREAM BOUTIQUE
130 N Broadway
Edmond, OK 73034
How freaking cool is this Rock & Roll jacket? I feel like this adds instant badass points to any outfit. Bonus points that you can pair it with an unintentionally grungy tee and this jacket would make it look like you planned it.
I try. I really do try not to buy every leopard thing I see but it's just too hard. Especially when a leopard sweater is in teal and gray. You can't deny it's prettiness!
These boots are so delightfully 90s that I can practically smell the Doc Martens. A chunky heel and the brown trim mean style and comfort with every outfit. These also come in snakeskin!
That's it for my Small Business Saturday round up. The truth is, there are so many other places I'd love to list and this is just a very small sampling of some great local businesses that I frequent. I'm so grateful to these store owners for keeping us fashionable and keeping our local economies working! Let me know if there are any small businesses in your town that I need to check out!
Until next time!
